KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

To securely pack all items to be delivered and to affix address labels and despatch notes
To always keep the stores area clean and tidy
To sign in and inspect any goods delivered to the stores area and file all delivery notes.
To check all certification for goods inward and file
To be responsible for recording all certification into the company's IMS system
To check that parts in the building correspond with the stock items in SAGE
To allocate product to spares orders via SAGE
To pick and pack orders (with the exception of dangerous goods)
To load orders as requested by the CAC's/Workshop Team according to priority
To book in stock items and allocate goods using Sage
To restock returned goods from the workshop
To use in a responsible manner, the company's fork lift truck when moving goods.
To work at all times within the guidelines of the SSI Health & Safety policy.
To attend daily meetings in order to prioritise the stores workload
To receive and pass to workshop all offshore tooling for checking and storing
Stock holding of customer held parts

KEY SKILLS

A presentable and confidant person with good communication skills
A willingness to be flexible and adaptable
A willingness to undertake training in line with SSI's continuous professional development plans
A commitment to completing the SVQ apprenticeship with support from the Operations Manager and external assessor

Job Types:
