Your purpose will be:
As a Finance Manager, reporting to the Finance Controller, and taking charge of the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department.
Managing the finance team, providing leadership and direction.Supervising the accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and income audit functions.
Ensuring the monthly payroll is carried out with a high level of accuracy and in line with company policies and SOPs.
Handling the annual submission of the hotel's PAYE Settlement Agreement.Ensuring all Finance Operations comply with Internal Audit policies.
Ensuring all Finance Operations comply with applicable legislation and external audit requirements.
Ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
Monitoring and controlling procedures.
Participating in the recruitment and training of new colleagues.
Ensuring a strong control environment within the hotel.
Reviewing and authorizing POs and expenses as required by company policy.
Reviewing and authorizing all refunds and allowances.
Reviewing and approving banking transactions within approved authorization limits.
Assisting in financial audit preparation in conjunction with the group reporting manager.
Accounting qualification - preferred not required
Work closely with the Director of Finance & Business Support and the Executive team to drive the success of the business.
