We are a small, but busy family plant nursery.

The job is varied from day to day depending on needs, but will include work in our packing house (small parcels up to about 5kgs) and seed room, packing up our customer orders and seed packeting.

You will be required to work on your own and as part of a team and good accuracy and attention to detail is necessary, basic computer skills are also required.


Please note, you MUST have an interest in gardening, if this doesn't appear on your CV or in a covering letter you will NOT be considered for the position.


We are looking for someone 2-3 days per week (this will include Sundays), minimum wage is offered according to your age.

Driving license is preferred (although not essential) as buses to Challock can be un-reliable (there are no trains).

Duties

  • Prepacking of plants for the pack house
  • Pack items securely and efficiently according to company standards (small items only)
  • Follow established procedures for picking, packing, and shipping/receiving
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with team members
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced environment with tight deadlines
You do NOT require a fork lift licence and will not be using any large equipment.

£7.49-£11.44 per hour
