Housing Solutions Officer

As a Housing Solutions Officer, you will be responsible for providing a professional, customer orientated service to individuals who may be homeless or threatened with homelessness.
You will work with colleagues to provide advice on the housing options available and ensuring the authorities compliance with the Homelessness Reduction Act.
This is varied role and beyond homelessness you will also have an opportunity to carry out allocations and give advice regarding Hampshire Home choice
.
We are seeking a motivated and innovative person, with good attention to detail, who can work proactively with customers and partners to find creative housing solutions.
We are looking for someone who is flexible and resilient, a supportive team player who is able to remain calm and to work effectively under pressure.
You may be an experienced housing professional or have experience in other public sector services.This role is available on a permanent basis working on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. There are an additional 2 days work available on a Thursday and Friday but due to funding this would only be until March further information on this can be provided on request.
In return you will be valued, supported, and provided with an environment where you can foster ideas to develop the service and put the customer at the heart of what you do.
