Our client is looking for a Cutover Manager for their Workday programme.

The Workday UK program is deploying the FINS & PSA modules of Workday into the world's largest creative agencies, transforming how they run their business from quote through to revenue recognition.

In this role you will be a member of the Workday UK program deploying Workday FINS & PSA to our two largest creative agencies and reporting to the UK Program Manager.

This role is responsible for planning and executing cutover from legacy platforms to Workday, ensuring all aspects are captured across the workstreams in a complex program comprising activities across functional, technical, training, change, shared services and data streams.

Working hand in hand with the Workstream leads, you will develop a detailed plan to prepare the agencies and program for cutover, execute cutover and a define a detailed hypercare plan which minimises risk and disruption to our end users.

Define the cutover strategy and plan for Workday FINS/PSA implementation for this UK creative agencies and approximately 3000 workers.



 Build a cutover approach for all workstreams, including management of workstream run books, and granular planning for cutover spanning pre-cutover through to hypercare exit.

Ensure alignment of project plans from various workstreams and evaluate any functional dependencies to be mapped into the cutover plan.

Align the multiple plans to a single source cutover plan aligning with the Change Management Training & Comms plans ensuring a smooth transition of technology solution.

Socialise plan into multiple forums and mitigate any impact, risk and issues.


Design a governance model / sign-off process to clear the path for Workday FINS/PSA go-live Build a run plan during cutover (stand ups, war rooms)

Build a rollback plan to meet the IT teams guidelines to mitigate the risk of deployment failure.

Responsible for coordinating Business Readiness with deployment leads for a clear path of Cutover Plan Execution.

Responsible for End-to-end cutover delivery (i.e. planning, deliverables tracking, Workstream alignment, risks, issues, dependencies, assumptions, reporting, change, and governance).

Be the single point of contact for any business readiness issues and associated risks to complete delivery on time. Previous experience in leading the cutover/business readiness activities of Workday FINS/PSA projects or similar ERP modules from SAP/PeopleSoft/Oracle within a complex global organisation.

Strong understanding of ERP implementation methodologies, tools and delivery methods.

Experience in a large-scale Finance & Professional Services Automation deployments, establishing a team, delivery, cutover and transitioning to BAU through hypercare.

Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with an appreciation and experience in working with stakeholders across multiple business units and levels of seniority.

Self-starter with impeccable organisational and time management skills, focusing on value and outcomes.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; Working knowledge of project management tools / dashboards (e.g., Jira, Worksheets, Excel)

This role is an initial 9 month contract and will require at least two days per week on site in central London.

If candidates don't have experience of Workday then previous expeirence of managing the cutover for a similar ERP system will be considered but particularly if they have been involved in the financial modules of the system.
