UCR administrator required full time/part time to cover peaks in the service demand between 8am and 8pm for the service that runs 24/- To provide efficient, confidential and effective administration support to the Urgent Community Response Team

  • To manage referrals into the service and to answer calls and redirect as appropriate.
  • To maintain information systems
  • To ensure effective communication across a wide range of services and work collaboratively with colleagues within an integrated service.
  • Ensure referrals received for the team are communicated and processed within the service SLA and accurately recorded in a timely manner
  • To work closely with the clinical team to understand the demand and capacity throughout the day and upload this information in the SHREWD system and Directory of Services (DOS)
  • Provide comprehensive administration support to clinicians using Microsoft Word and Excel to produce minutes of meetings, letters, documents such as policies and procedures and statistical data.
  • Input and maintain information regarding Patient Satisfaction Surveys for statistical purposes
  • To contact patients as needed to request feedback for the service.
  • Maintain information accurately that is required for audit / statistical purposes as instructed by the Team Manager
  • Deal with members of the public in a sensitive and caring manner at all times
  • Ensure any complaints received via telephone are recorded accurately
  • Maintain and update staff sickness and appraisal records using electronic information systems
  • Liaise when necessary with Estates, Facilities and other internal departments.
  • Support Home 1stAdmin team when required with ordering equipment/stationery
  • Work in conjunction with the other service administrator to ensure that key functions are covered at all times.
  • Support the implementation of new IT systems for collecting patient data undergo training to be a 'Super user' to support the team.
  • Ensure the lone working policy is implemented
