Commercial Finance Analyst

The Role:
Being a part of the Commercial Finance Team, this position is accountable for all financial management aspects for Site Running (approximately £400m per year) which includes management accounting, reporting, business partnerships, decision support, budgeting, and forecasting. This role is a combination of office and home-based work, with two days in our Reading office per week.
What you will do:
- Deliver monthly management accounts to stakeholders through collaboration with external partners and internal stakeholders.
- Establish business partnerships with the Legal and Property teams.
- Ensure proper governance, approval, and financial management of all finance procedures within Site Running.
- Lead reporting enhancements within the team by exploring tools like PowerBI.
- Develop and oversee 5-year plans and reforecasts for Site Running.
- Utilize Financial Modelling for forecasts and support business transactions.
- Manage the Property Escrow P2P process.
- Account for Site Running P&L and Balance sheets following accounting standards.
- Manage the funding process between MBNL and stakeholders/partners to maintain appropriate levels for daily operations.
What we are looking for:
- Qualified accountant - ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Excel and IT.
- Experience in handling senior stakeholders.
- Strong background in controlling.
- Positive and proactive attitude.
Nice to have:
- Experience in Project Management.
- Commercial experience in developing and evaluating business cases.
- Managing substantial budgets.
- Knowledge of procurement systems/processes, SAP.
