TXM Recruit is excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for an Electrician with domestic and commercial testing experience to join a thriving electrical business.

The Electrician will primarily work in the Salford area, being responsible for all Testing and Inspecting tasks on their top-notch domestic and commercial projects.


Salary Range:
up to £38,870 per year (with a potential increase to £40k based on experience) (OTE £43 - £48k)

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week (08:00 – 17:00)


As a Testing and Inspecting Electrician, your main duties will include electrical testing, inspections, and repairs on various high-end domestic and commercial projects like private residences, schools, and offices.


Key Responsibilities as a Testing and Inspecting Electrician:

  • Adhering to Health & Safety regulations
  • Conducting fixed wire installation tests (EICR) at client sites
  • Resolving faults identified during the fixed wire installation test
  • Uploading all relevant certification using a tablet

To thrive in this role, you should have:

  • 18th Edition qualification
  • NVQ Level 3 or C&G 2360/2330 (part 1&2)
  • C&G level 2&3 in Electrical Installations
  • C&G 2391 certification or equivalent
  • Previous experience in electrical testing within a commercial environment
