Our client operates within the higher education sector in Bournemouth and are seeking a Purchase Ledger Supervisor with a proven track record of supervising and experience in high volume purchase ledger processing.


As a Purchase Ledger Supervisor you will:

  • oversee a small team who are processing high volumes of invoices
- being the point of contact for query escalations from suppliers and internal staff regarding payments and invoices
- processing the weekly BACs run and ensure payments are made on a timely basis
- managing and prioritising the work flow and producing weekly KPIs for senior management
- monitoring aged creditors report and supplier reconciliations to ensure the ledger is accurately maintained
- as the purchase ledger is likely to be enhanced within the coming 12-18 months experience of implementing new systems and process improvements would be an advantage.


You will need to have significant experience within a Purchase Ledger environment, the ability to problem solve and oversee a small team.

Good IT skills especially Excel is essential, together with good communication skills.
AAT Level 3 or 4 and experience within the higher education sector would be an advantage but not essential.
