By bringing together NHS 111 call centres, clinical assessment and other urgent care services, we enable patients to access the right care, when they need it.


This is an opportunity to build on your
nursing or paramedic experience and to continue to deliver outstanding patient care -
without the physical strain of acute work.

As a
Paramedic Advisor supporting our 111 call centre operations, you'll be a key part of a multidisciplinary team providing
high quality, evidence-based healthcare.

Calls will be directed to you from our 111 health advisors when clinical support is needed.

Using a combination of your expertise and the NHS
Pathways triage tool, you'll ensure the patient receives the most appropriate treatment.

Although these are not emergency calls, you may need to deal with emotional, distressing or life-threatening scenarios and to arrange for 999 services if required.


Extensive, paid training

is offered

Our two training options:
full-time


Mon-Fri (9am-5pm) for six weeks

; or part-time

Tues, Weds, Thurs (6pm-9.30pm) and Sat-Sun (9am-5pm) for nine weeks.

About You:

You must attend every training day. This is followed by a further eight weeks' support before you are signed off to work on your own. Prior to starting, we'll provide you with a workbook to review and complete

You'll need:

  • Registration as a paramedic (
    HCPC) with appropriate postregistration experience.
  • Excellent
    listening and communication skills, with good IT and keyboard skills.
  • A real
    passion for providing outstanding patient care, with a commitment to making the most of continuous learning within
    a wellstructured, wellsupported team.

You'll get:

  • Pay
    :£21.32 per hour (7am11pm) and
    £24.24 per hour (11pm7am), with further pay enhancements for some of our busier shifts.
  • 25 days' annual leave, increasing with service up to 28 days per year + bank holidays.
  • Full control over your working hours, with guaranteed regular breaks and as much
    flexibility as we can provide plus potential for
    home working.

About Us:


Once you've completed your training, you can join the team
full or part-time on a variety of
shift patterns to suit your lifestyle.

These range from hours per week and operate on a 2-8 week rotating rota that includes daytime, evenings, nights and weekend working.

We also offer the opportunity to
move into partial or full home working once you have settled into the role.
