Main Responsibilities
- To operate and coordinate all aspects of Control Room Operation with Protective Services Team Leader
- Access control to ensure no unauthorized persons and/or vehicles are allowed onto RRMC premises
- Ability to think and act quickly in emergencies or under pressure
- People/Baggage/Vehicle searches; to ensure no unauthorised assets (including vehicles) leave RRMC
- To operate, monitor, evaluate and maintain CCTV systems
- Manage the intercoms from the entrances to the car parks and offer information to support onsite parking
- Manage the dedicated emergency telephones and the telephone system and be aware of
- Manage the radio networks communicating with Security
- Maintain the key issue records and deal with the key issues
- Be physically able to carry out duties
- IT literacy to include excellent outlook, word, excel, software date bases and web based software
- Excellent organisational skills
- Deal with casual visitors who will report to the Security control room area
- Manage Contractor control process
- Ensure associates and visitors adhere to confidentiality and Health & Safety requirements
- Undertake any other duties that are necessary within the Security Control room
- Report any failures or issues to the Head of Security
- To warmly receive visitors, identify the purpose of their visit and liaise with the appropriate personnel as
- Other duties as required by security management
