Bar Staff

Duties:

  • Greet and welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Take customer orders and serve drinks and food
  • Prepare and mix a variety of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages
  • Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and wellstocked
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age
  • Monitor customer behavior and intervene as necessary to maintain a safe and enjoyable atmosphere
  • Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
  • Collaborate with other staff members to provide excellent customer service

Skills:

  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
  • Experience working in a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and assist others when needed
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues
  • Previous bartending experience is a plus
