NOC Engineer

We are currently seeking a NOC Engineer with L3 Support experience at Qualient in Rugby, UK on a Permanent and FTC basis.

Job Description:

• Essential Requirements and Responsibilities:

We are looking for someone who can effectively support various technologies at an L3 level, handling incidents, configurations, upgrades, security tasks, and with design level knowledge.

• Key Technologies:

• CISCO Firepower and FortiGate Firewalls with IPS/IDS
• CISCO Catalyst Switches
• Fortigate RAS VPN with MFA
• Clear understanding of OSPF/BGP and diverse resiliency configurations
• Strong expertise in Network Data and Security
• Proficient in configuring Routers, Switches, and Firewalls
• Prior experience in NoC/Incident Handling and supporting various Network technologies including routing/switching, Firewalls, load balancers, and proxies across multiple data centers

Experience with alerting and monitoring tools like Manage Engine OPS manager, CISCO DNA-C, Prime, Nagios, etc.

Experience with ITSM tools like Service Now

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Responsibilities include P1 Operational on-call support as per schedule

Documentation and management of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IT processes
