Duties:

  • Provide support and assistance to individuals in need, including individuals with learning disabilities and mental health needs.
  • Assist with activities of daily living such as meal preparation, medication administration, and personal care.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Perform and support with light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry
  • Accompany clients to arranging and attending appointments and outings
  • Follow care plans and instructions provided by supervisors or healthcare professionals
  • Maintain accurate daily logs and documentation
  • Promote a fulfilling life for service users
  • Collaborate closely with vulnerable adults, staff, families, and professionals
  • Attend relevant training sessions
  • Implement and respond to Safeguarding policy and guidance

Requirements:

  • Health and Social care NVQ level
  • Health and Social care NVQ level
3 (Desired)

  • Previous experience in a similar role (Extremley desired; comprehensive induction and ongoing training will be provided)
  • Knowledge of first aid and positive behaviour support (Desired)
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to work weekends
Please note that this position will require working with vulnerable populations, therefore a background check
will be required.

Hours & Rate of Pay:

5 days over a 7-day period, with varying shift patterns as agreed with the manager.
Day and Night shifts - Sleep ins.
Up to £12.50 p/h.
