We have a position available for a qualified childcare level 3 in childcare and education or equivalent.

We are looking for a fun, motivated individual to join our team.


We have child care settings within 3 schools in Caerphilly, offering wrap around care, after school club and holiday club.

We are looking for a reliable team member to work with us.

Hours are term time Monday

  • Friday 12pm 5pm. We also run a holiday club for the school holidays except Christmas Monday
  • Thursday 8.30 am 4pm this is a requirement for the Job.
The post will be working with 3-11year olds experience with this age range would be a advantage.

Responsibilities and Key Duties:
To provide high standards of quality within the club including the environment, resources and experiences offered to children.

Observe, support and extend children's learning. Plan appropriately and ensure rich and diverse outdoor play experiences are offered

Demonstrate good practice with regard to emerging needs and inclusion.

Ensure that children are kept safe and that staff understand, and when necessary follow, Child Protection Procedures.

Develop and maintain highly professional working relationships with the staff and other agencies that may visit the setting.

Ensure the general cleanliness of the environment at all times.

Adhere to all Health and Safety policies and procedures.

Be fully aware of all emergency and security procedures e.g. fire precautions, security, dropping off and collection of children.

Promote the club to current parents and potential customers.

Work as a team with other staff members.

Qualifications and Skills.

You must have a Childcare level 3 in Childcare or equivalent.
A DBS will be required paid by the employer.

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 25 per week

Salary:
£9.50-£10.00 per hour
