Electrical Maintenance Engineer

We are excited to announce a job opportunity for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer with a top company based in North Yorkshire that specializes in the design, production, and assembly of large steel frameworks and structures.

  • Location: Sherburn

Working Hours:
  • Monday - Friday from 07:00 to 15:00 (40-hour week)


Salary: £32k (paid weekly)

Responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer include:
  • Performing preventative and reactive maintenance
  • Working on single-phase and three-phase equipment
  • Collaborating with the team on new installations and improvement projects to enhance maintenance efficiencies
  • Fault finding on PLC's
  • Responding promptly to breakdowns and managing workload priorities


The ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
  • NVQ Level 3 or higher in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience in both preventative and reactive maintenance as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer
  • Previous exposure to a manufacturing environment
  • Hands-on experience in fault finding on low-voltage plc control/plc
