The firm is currently a team of 52 with a strong desire to grow organically and have ambitious plans to double the size of the business in the next three years.

You will not only lead the provision of Tax Advisory services for the firm, but will be a key stakeholder in the success of the business.

It is expected that after an initial period with the firm, you will acquire equity and become a Director of the firm.

As a member of the Board and a key stakeholder, you will drive the firm forward to sustain its commercial success and reputation.

You will be several years qualified, CTA or ACA with strong tax knowledge and experience. You will be technically competent in providing tax advisory services. You will be confident in dealing with the demands of clients and you will be commercial in approach.
Initially you will be providing services primarily to the existing client base.

Clients are SMEs in a variety of sectors as well as HNW individuals, with good scope for transactional and tax planning advice.

As you bed in to the role, you will build your network and it is expected that you will be able to bring in new clients to the practice.

It is also expected that over time you will build a team to further expand the firm's tax offering. You will be a trustedadvisor to the client base and build a strong reputation for tax advice.
Competencies/ Background
Strong technical tax knowledge.
Personable with good telephone and inter-personal skills.
Ability to effectively manage a number of assignments concurrently
IT knowledge commensurate with job role.
Ability to carry out research in to complex areas of tax legislation.
Previous Mixed Tax experience in a similar role within a practice environment.

Managing all aspects of tax service provision including understanding AML requirements, criteria for client take on, engagement terms, managing billings etc.

Working as part of a team / member of the Board; actively contributing but also listening to others and making measured decisions.

You displaystrong time management and flexibility, but achieving the right home / work balance.

You will be up to date with new technologies to improve the Tax process and be responsible for the training of staff and compliance with best Tax practice.

You enjoy assessing new potential work, pricing and securing new work.
