Assistant Buyer to join our Group procurement team to provide a high-quality procurement service across our business.

Key Responsibilities
In this Assistant Buyer role, you will

  • Manage ticket requests from the business in line with SLAs
  • Raise purchase orders for projects and ensure urgent orders are approved within a timely manner
  • Provide appropriate benchmarking high value requisitions and supporting the wider Kier operating units with pricing requests

What we are looking for

  • Organised and proactive with a customer focused approach
  • Excellent administration skills with an ability to adapt in a demanding environment
  • Previous experience working in a busy highvolume environment
  • Able to work under your own initiative
  • Experience within a Procurement industry is desirable
