OVERVIEW:
COMPEX TRAINER
We are currently recruiting for a CompEx Trainer for a well-established technical training provider. Providing high quality training to adult learners and corporate clients

We are seeking an experienced time served craftsperson with an Electrical, Electrotechnical or Instrumentation background, who has worked in hazardous / explosive environments.

You will be trained to deliver CompEx courses to adult learners from the industry.
Full training is given

THE ROLE OF COMPEX TRAINER:

To deliver (by teaching, training and holistic assessment methods) CompEx accredited training courses.

To carry out day to day duties/works associated with successful course delivery: preparing practical bays in workshop, remedial actions, responding to any technical queries from clients

To maintain best possible relations with clients and companies

We are looking for applicants that are self-motivated, a team player and have a 'hands on approach' to work within this rewarding environment.

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
COMPEX TRAINER

• Extensive Hazardous area experience
• CompEx EX0104 qualifications
• Apprentice/time served craftsperson: Electrotechnical and/or Instrumentation
• NVQ level 3 or equivalent
• Excellent Interpersonal/communication skills
• Organised with excellent attention to detail and ability to check work
• Self motivated, able to work under own initiative and without supervision
• Excellent time management skills to ensure required tasks are monitored and prioritised.
• Ability to coach and influence a range of audiences effectively
• Excellent decision making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to be flexible when required
