What you'll do:

  • Reporting into the Estimating Manager you'll work closely with the wider strategic sourcing and contract management Procurement teams, and pride yourself on producing accurate and highquality cost estimates and support the development and writing of winning bidding and contract strategies. Playing an active part in our drive to Carbon zero, this is a great opportunity to work on a variety of projects and build your knowledge of Substations, Cables and Overhead Lines.
  • Cost Estimation
  • Play a key role in generating cost estimates for a range of construction activities including civil, mechanical and electrical installation.


 Procurement contracting
  • Support the development and writing of winning bidding and contracting strategies.
  • Project and design strategies
  • Support project development by supporting pioneering activities to identify the optimum cost solution.
  • Analysis competitively assess & benchmark bids and present to the execution team.

  • We're looking for people who can demonstrate creativity and commercial acumen whilst identifying opportunities to drive value and deliver our net zero ambition, and a passion to grow yourself and our business. Someone who;
  • Has an estimation background who wants to gain experience in infrastructure estimating within the Electrical Transmission industry sector.
  • Willing to develop strong knowledge of construction and installation techniques and their implications on cost
  • Looking to secure ACostE, ICEAA or similar professional membership
  • Team player who can demonstrate stakeholder management skills
  • Organised, results orientated and able to communicate at all levels effectively

Locations and flexible working:

  • As part of our hybrid working approach where colleagues work flexibly, these roles offer a mix of office working in Warwick and home working. Other office working locations; London, Castle Donnington and Bristol can also be accommodated.
