Key skills required include:
Cell culture methodology.
Analysis of recombinant protein expression including western blot and ELISA.
Immunofluorescence microscopy.
Designing and constructing plasmids in E. coli.
Performing DNA extraction, PCR and qPCR.
Gene expression analysis including RNA expression and RT-qPCR.
Thorough researching of relevant literature and writing reports to a high standard.
You must have a strong background in molecular and cell biology research in gene therapy, gene editing or recombinant protein expression in mammalian cells and:
A PhD in molecular or cell biology.
