About us:
We are a small friendly team in a well established small local bakery in Leek town centre. We've twice won a national bakery award for our products.

We're passionate about what we do and are looking for someone who shares our passion and is willing to put in the work so see great traditional bakery items produced.


Job Role:
To produce a range of freshly baked breads, pastries and cakes for our bakery in Leek.

Key Points:

Must be able to time manage well to produce a range of baked goods for the shop for opening.

Must be punctual and manage sleep well as we start early in the morning.

Things to note:

There is heavy lifting involved, a sack of flour weighs 16kg and a box of mixed dough can weigh up to 20kg and they need to be transported up and down a set of stairs.


Job Expectations:

Following on from an initial 4 week training period we will expect you so work solo in the bakery up to 2 times per week, the remaining time you'll work directly with the owners who will assist on busier days.


A standard week:

Although days/ hours and start times may vary on occasion a general week will look like including a Lunch break.

Monday: 9am - 3pm

Tuesday: 4.30am pm

Wednesday: 4.30am - 12pm

Friday: 4.30am - 1.30pm

Saturday: 4.30am am

£10.50-£12.00 per hour
