Role Responsibilities

  • Security: Monitoring security cameras, patrolling the premises, and ensuring the safety and security of SU.
  • Aiding service users or residents as needed, including handling inquiries or complaints, and addressing any issues that may arise during the night.
  • Maintenance: Performing light maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs, fixing minor plumbing issues, or addressing any other maintenance issues that may arise during the night.
  • Housekeeping: Performing basic housekeeping duties such as cleaning common areas, restocking supplies, and ensuring that the facility is clean and tidy.
  • Emergency Response: Responding to emergencies such as medical emergencies, fire alarms, or other incidents, and taking appropriate action to ensure the safety of SU or residents and the property.
  • Administrative Tasks: Completing any administrative tasks assigned by management, such as preparing reports, updating records, or running night audit.
  • Maintaining communication with other staff members and management to report any incidents, issues, or concerns that arise during the night shift.
  • Overall, a night porter plays a crucial role in maintaining the smooth operation of the facility during nighttime hours, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of service users or residents.
Key Requirements
