Our client, a Surrey-based engineering company, is at the forefront of sustainable practices and environmental responsibility. They are now looking for a Supplier Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team and contribute to a greener future.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality of components from a global supply chain, with a focus on environmental sustainability.
  • You will work collaboratively with your team to improve supplier quality and delivery performance.
  • Evaluate component vendors' capabilities to produce environmentally friendly, defect-free components for new product introductions.
  • Coordinate product launches seamlessly, develop supplier performance reports, and mitigate production shortages and environmental impact.
  • Review and approve PPAPs, maintain records, and drive root cause analyses to enhance quality across the product life cycle.

We are looking for candidates with an engineering degree or Quality Management qualification, along with ISO 9001 auditing credentials. Prior experience in supplier quality assurance, particularly in automotive manufacturing, is required. Proficiency in IATF 16949, Core Tools, and quality methodologies is a plus.
