We are tackling intriguing engineering challenges and seeking individuals who enjoy facing these challenges head-on. Our technology stack includes microservices, serverless functions, redis, and postgres. While our core system is in C#/.NET, we also explore other languages like Python for data processing and Rust for performance-critical modules.

Quality is vital for us, leading to an exceptional developer experience. We emphasize DevOps practices, automation, and continuous system delivery to Openshift and AWS, ensuring excellent code quality and efficient engineering practices.

  • Join the core development team to build a quantitative risk engine supporting LGIM Solutions fund
  • Collaborate with Quantitative Analysts and Portfolio Management to provide thorough analysis for Solutions Portfolios
  • Model risks of different asset strategies, focusing on fixed income and other asset classes to align with pension and insurance liabilities
  • Develop infrastructure, services, and architecture for derivatives pricing and risk tools on the Solutions tech platform
  • Adhere to LGIM's Treating Customers Fairly policy when managing client portfolios

As a candidate, you should possess software engineering and financial mathematics expertise, prioritizing resilient and well-engineered software. Strong C#/.NET skills, automated testing understanding, and proficiency in SQL and data processing are essential. Moreover, you should excel at system performance optimization and collaboration with fellow engineers and quants.

  • Experience in designing and building similar systems
  • Familiarity with static code analysis, security testing tools, and CI systems
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language outside C#/.NET like F#, C++, Rust, or Python
