Key Responsibilities:

Roasting Operations: Operate and manage coffee roasting equipment to produce high-quality roasted coffee beans according to company specifications.

Quality Control: Monitor and maintain the quality of roasted coffee by performing regular cupping sessions, adjusting roast profiles, and ensuring consistency.

Inventory Management: Track inventory levels of green and roasted coffee beans, and manage supply orders to ensure seamless operations.

Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance on roasting equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of roast profiles, batch details, and inventory levels.

Product Development: Collaborate with the team to develop new roast profiles and blends, enhancing our product offerings.

Customer Support: Work along side the rest of the team to support and aquire new customers, as well as provide excellent customer service to our existing client base.

Health & Safety: Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring a safe and clean working environment.

Qualifications:

Knowledge: Strong understanding of coffee bean origins, varieties, and roasting processes.

Skills: Excellent attention to detail, strong organisational skills, great communication skills, and the ability to multitask.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Additional certifications in coffee roasting or related fields are a plus.

Working Conditions:

-
Schedule: 4 days a week, 32 hours total, Full time.
-
Environment: Work primarily in a roasting facility, with dedicated training space and QC lab.
