Grandstand Events is a leading real estate placemaking and events operator

and advisory, specialising in bespoke alfresco bars, large format screenings and seasonal

ice rinks. Working in partnership with our clients, we animate, enliven and commercialise

premier business and leisure destinations across the UK. Grandstand Events brings

exceptional customer experiences to life through powerful storytelling, immersive

activities, and seamless delivery from the initial design concept, logistics and operations,

and customer service.

About the venue:
Oasis Bar & Terrace is an all new venue launching in June 2024, and will

become Londons most loved alfresco bar located in the heart of Canary Wharf. Appealing

to a broad audience due to its location, size, dual offering of the ground floor and terrace

spaces and open-air environment, this venue can host many local corporate post-work

get-togethers and small to medium corporate events.

The venue operates over a ground floor and terrace level which is open air.

The ground floor operation is a fast-paced high-volume environment which switches

configuration between Spring/Summer and Autumn/Winter. During the Summer months

we operate across a 17-meter-long bar serving between people a day

(depending on what entertainment/sport is playing on the large screens in the park), and

in the winter month we reduce the length of the bar to a 5-meter-long bar and become

an enclosed venue with the ability to offer table service.

The terrace offering is an entirely new, and elevated space to allow table service, the

introduction of cocktails and bottle to table service as well as a lite-bites menu, and

occasional live music.

We serve over 100,000's of thirsty customers throughout the year, and trade seven days a

week.

A modern and contemporary alfresco bar, Oasis Bar & Terrace operates from the morning coffee service through the evenings livelier crowd.

We pride ourselves on the

quality and speed of service, and aim to surprise and delight our guest, at every

opportunity.

About you:
You're passionate about hospitality and people. You are an established Host/Hostess, looking for a new challenge and want to be part of the hosting team and

working with the GM to create a smooth and innovative offering at a flagship venue,

curating a service of dreams, to both work within and experience. We are looking for

individuals who have proven their ability to deliver a high-quality experience from daytime

through to late-night service. You are uncompromising on expecting the highest standards.

Finally, and most importantly, you will need to be highly social, upbeat and friendly;
confident and can handle pressure well; thrive in a busy high-volume, high-energy

environment, and manage multiple tasks and guests with ease.
