Are you an experienced senior midwife with a passion for leading and developing the Midwifery Workforce? We would like to invite you to join our Team at Northampton General Hospital (NGH) as the Workforce Matron and be part of the midwifery workforce transformation journey that we are on.


We are looking for a dynamic and experienced individual who has the passion and drive for workforce transformation and development, to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.


You will work within the midwifery leadership team as well as part of the wider workforce team that focuses on delivering a workforce strategy to support the recruitment, retention, safe staffing and the transformation agenda for the Midwifery workforce across the Trust.


You will need experience within a senior leadership position with the ability to negotiate and find innovative solutions to complex issues, to transform and develop midwifery roles, establishments, and review practice, not just for midwives, but for associate roles, such as midwifery support workers, nurses, AHPs and others.
