We're looking for a Topographical Surveyor with at least 5+ years experience within the survey industry, ideally with knowledge in the use of Leica Total Stations, GPS and Laser Scanners.

The applicant should be able to communicate effectively at all levels with the ability to multi task and a good attention to detail.

General Responsibilities/Specific Duties

• Plan and manage projects, business operations within their scope of responsibility
• Confident and knowledgeable of various Topographical Survey techniques including but not limited to; Total Station, GPS, Laser Scanning and Bathymetric
• Proficient in undertaking Topographical Surveys
• Day to day responsibility for planning, supervision and programming of Topographical Surveys at locations throughout the United Kingdom
• Processing gathered survey data
• Prepare Health & Safety documentation prior to and during the site works phase, as well as assisting with the managing the Health & Safety of operatives and promoting a safe working environment
• Carry out work in accordance with company Health & Safety rules
• Promote SOCOTEC's full range of services
