The Finance Assistant (HYBRID + study support) role involves:

  • Calculating purchasing income invoice values, through use of Distributor statistics and supplier trackers
  • Liaising with manufacturers and suppliers to agree purchasing income invoice values
  • Raising invoices
  • Accurately recording invoice values on the Super Category invoice trackers
  • Building relationships with manufacturers and suppliers, to ensure the timely and accurate invoicing of purchasing income
  • Advising Data Management of Material price changes
  • Completing Deal Amendment Forms and liaising with Data Management to ensure correct deal loading
  • Liaising with Credit Control to resolve debt issues

The Successful Applicant:

  • High numeric and analytical skills
  • Ability to communicate oral and written information concisely and logically
  • Ability to analyse and evaluate information
  • Good spreadsheet knowledge
  • AAT studier or Finance graduate (but this is not essential)
  • Knowledge of SAP and Cognos (desirable)
  • Previous analytical or financial experience (desirable)

The Finance Assistant (HYBRID + study support) role offers starting salary of £18-24,000, plus

  • Sponsored accounting study package (towards AAT / CIMA / ACCA)
- £500 bonus

  • 20 days holiday, increases to 23 after 2 years
