The Role
- Responsible for managing commercial accounts, focusing on Bid and Proposal Management, Contract Management, and Customer Relationship Management.
- Oversee all commercial aspects of bid and proposal preparation while considering credit-worthiness and foreign currency risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with the Commercial Manager in new business development, understanding customer needs and financial situations.
- Assist in negotiations with important customers to create financially viable and legally compliant contracts.
- Maintain relationships internally and with customers, ensuring compliance and clear communication of contractual obligations.
- Liaise with Engineering and shipping departments to guarantee timely and accurate deliveries.
- Seeking a commercially savvy individual with extensive experience in contract negotiation and management, preferably in Aerospace, Defence, IT Services, Construction, or related industries.
- Knowledge of Defence Contracting Regulation is advantageous.
- Understanding of global export regulations, procurement procedures, and financial practices.
- Strong financial skills to develop complex business models supporting bids and proposals.
- Effective negotiator capable of maintaining key relationships with customers and contractors.
- Ability to lead a successful team with strong motivation, performance management, and leadership.
- Strategic thinker with keen attention to detail, comfortable interacting across diverse international cultures.
