As there is a lot of scope for the game, world and team to grow further, you can use your unique skillset and abilities to have a meaningful influence on the evolving look and feel of the game.

You will play a critical role in leading a team charged with building stylized VFX that will draw players into our world, and convey gameplay elements that help redefine what a game is and how players interact with it.

Lead a small team of VFX artists focused on the creation of VFX at all levels of complexity using Unreal Engine 5 and associated creation software.

Collaborate with co-developers and the Technical Art Director on creating uniquely stylized content.
Define working practices and ensure authored content is adhering to any defined structures and standards.

Collaborate with the design and engineering departments on VFX that attract and immerse the player, while clearly conveying mechanical, story and other information.

Ensure quality VFX to show the game world at its best.
Consider performance implications and handle optimisation.
Communicate, collaborate, and coordinate with other members of the art team using Miro, Slack, Jira and video calls.
Passionate about creating games and delivering the highest quality VFX.
Knowledge of current AAA generation games and VFX.
Familiarity with other disciplines (Animation, Modelling, Lighting etc).
