Due to continuous growth, my client currently has two openings for enthusiastic and dedicated commercial gas engineers to handle various planned and reactive gas tasks for clients primarily located in Hampshire.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform reactive maintenance, diagnose and repair issues, conduct new installations, and complete PPM tasks for both domestic and commercial systems.
  • Participate in a team providing 24/7 breakdown support to clients on a rota basis, collaborating with the mechanical team to develop a robust service and maintenance division.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with clients.
  • Prioritize workloads efficiently with a flexible attitude, while remaining calm under pressure.
  • Be proficient in using computer software systems.

Minimum Requirements and Qualifications:

  • City and Guilds or equivalent NVQ 2/3 in a mechanical discipline
  • Commercial/Domestic Gas Certifications:
CCN1, CENWAT, CODNCCO1, CDGA1, and CIGA
  • Health and Safety Training.
  • OFTEC Registration.
  • Experience working with oil fired appliances/systems.
  • Unvented water systems knowledge.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.
  • Electrical safety training.
  • IPAF and PASMA qualifications.
  • Ability to understand and follow the organisation's procedures and policies.
  • Ability to follow instructions and seek guidance when necessary.
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
