They are now in need of a Marketing Director to play a vital role in the senior leadership team and spearhead the Marketing strategy for the group and business. This position offers a rare opportunity to lead the Marketing function, with a key focus on enhancing the current Marketing team and devising a strategic plan for sustained growth and profitability.

The ideal candidate will have a solid background in leading Marketing functions within the IT or Technology sector, preferably in an MSP environment, coupled with a strategic and business-oriented mindset.

The Marketing Director's responsibilities will include overseeing: Demand Generation, Inbound Marketing, Content Marketing, Customer Marketing, Social Media, Product Marketing, PR, and Conferences.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement the company's marketing strategy in line with business objectives. Offer visionary leadership to guide the marketing team towards success.
  • Experience in packaging, pricing, and marketing Managed IT services to both private and public sector clients.
  • Create and execute product marketing strategies to effectively position the company's IT Support and Managed services portfolio in the market. Drive product messaging, pricing, differentiation, and sales support.
  • Lead demand generation activities to produce qualified leads and facilitate revenue growth. Develop and oversee campaigns across online advertising, marketing automation, and other pertinent channels.
  • Establish KPIs and metrics for measuring marketing effectiveness. Regularly evaluate and report on marketing's influence on revenue and other key business indicators.
  • Expertise in the marketing mix, encompassing online advertising, marketing automation, social media, and demand generation tools, to craft and implement comprehensive marketing campaigns.
  • Construct, lead, and mentor a high-performing marketing team. Cultivate a collaborative and inventive environment that promotes continuous enhancement.
  • Work closely with sales, service delivery, vendor managers, and other relevant departments to ensure alignment between marketing strategies and overarching business objectives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in marketing B2B IT Services or IT Managed Service Provider sectors.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Product Marketing, Demand Generation, and Inbound Marketing, showcasing your ability to steer holistic marketing strategies.
  • Located in the North West of England, comfortable with hybrid work setup and occasional travel.
