Responsibilities:

  • Conducting Assessments: Disability Assessors are responsible for conducting thorough assessments of individuals with disabilities or health conditions. They review medical reports, gather information from the individual, and may also consult with healthcare professionals involved in the individual's care.
  • Evaluating Functional Abilities: Assessors evaluate how an individual's disabilities or health conditions impact their ability to perform various functional activities such as walking, lifting, dressing, bathing, cooking, and other essential daily tasks.
  • Writing Assessment Reports: Following the assessment, Disability Assessors write detailed and accurate assessment reports. These reports outline the individual's medical history, functional limitations, and the impact of their disabilities on their daily life.
