Our client a long established firm of chartered accountants based in Middleton North Manchester with free car parking onsite are looking to appoint a driven Qualified or Senior Accountant (Client Manager) from practice to join their team on a Full Time basis.

To be considered you must have previous experience of managing your own portfolio of clients within an accountancy practice including being able to produce accounts for Sole Traders and Limited Companies to sign off.


The role is Full time but Part time applicants will be considered with a minimum of 25 hours a week

What you can expect:

  • Salary £3548k DOE
  • Study support if you are in the final stages of ACCA or ACA
  • 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
  • Flexible working

Other Duties Include:

- liaising directly with clients, answering their queries and providing on-going business advice

  • Overseeing bookkeeping
  • Preparation and submission of accounts for review
  • To process data, from client records, into accounting software
  • To produce accounts, from this information, to trial balance stage


 Corporation tax work
  • CT600s
  • To visit clients at their premises on occasion conducting client meetings
  • To actively support and cooperate with other members of the team
  • To undertake such additional or alternative duties when requested and in line with experience, skills and training
  • Providing strategic business advice to clients in terms of accounting methods and practices and also their own business financial goals analysing profitability
  • A key part of the day to day management of the firm including Team Management, Recruitment, Retention and Overall Business Strategy
  • Management of Key Client relationships providing ongoing business advice and support
  • Manage a varied, high value and diverse client portfolio.
  • Provide a range of business advisory and fullservice accountancy services to a client portfolio.
  • Assist in the strategic planning and delivery of business services.
  • Ensure the highquality provision of accounting services.
You will be ACCA or ACA Qualified or QBE with a number of years' experience in practice accountancy.
