This is an exciting opportunity to work on privacy and data protection related matters of the established entity in Southampton but also be involved in tasks and projects associated with the firms Global Data Protection Office (U.S., Canada, Europe).

You will have the chance to collaborate actively with different functions within the company and you will also have training opportunities to further grow in your role.

Client Details

My client is a specialist Financial Services business, with this role working from their Whiteley office, but with offices also throughout Europe and the US.

Description

  • Maintain and update the Record of Processing activities for the Gen II entities globally, while monitoring personal data flows
  • Get involved in client and vendor contractual clauses for data protection and international data transfers as well as related regulatory updates.
  • Contribute to the drafting of templates, data protection addenda, privacy statements, consent forms, policies and procedures as well as other related documents for data protection governance and accountability
  • Perform Legitimate Interest Assessments, Data Protection Impact Assessments and Transfer Impact Assessments
  • Assist with the privacy by design due diligence exercise for all new projects or IT tools
  • Keep up to date with privacy developments around the world
  • Perform any other tasks entrusted to you by the Global Data Protection Officer
