W4W are proud to represent the Lancashire, Greater Manchester and North Merseyside Wildlife trust, WWF, the Woodland Trust, Greenpeace, Plantlife, and more.
Role DescriptionThis is a remote role for a self-employed Charity Fundraiser. As a Charity Fundraiser, you will be responsible for fundraising and creating awareness for UK wildlife/nature charities.Our in-house venues team arrange your bookings to maximise your chances of engaging with numerous donors during your shift.
Your day-to-day tasks will include approaching potential donors, answering questions about the charities, and persuading people to make a donation.
The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills. It can be either full-time or part-time to accommodate your current schedule.Charity-branded clothing and equipment such as pull-up banners, tablecloths, posters etc are supplied, along with an electronic tablet for donors to sign up.
RequirementsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong persuasion and negotiation skillsPassion for wildlife/nature conservationAbility to work independently and remotelyPrevious experience in fundraising or sales is a plusHighly motivated and target-drivenStrong organisational and time management skillsAbility to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitudeFlexibility to work weekends or evenings as requiredA full UK driving licence and access to a carIf you are self-assured, adaptable, and enjoy interacting with others, this might just be your perfect fit-
