At InterContinental London Park Lane, we are currently looking to for a Head Waiter/Waitress to join the team in our fine dining Italian Restaurant in Mayfair, central London.

As a Head Waiter/Waitress you will be responsible for ensuring the effective running of the shift and for ensuring diners have a positive experience by delivering great service, great food, and great drinks. Your duties will include greeting diners and taking their orders, communicating with members of the kitchen about changes in the menu, daily availability, and allergens for the specials. You will also need to liaise with the Managers on a daily basis regarding the requirements or changes in the daily operation e.g., staffing, table plans, lay-up, menu etc.

You will be expected to assist and supervise commis waiters therefore previous experience as a supervisor or Head Waiter is preferred and experience in handling guest queries and concerns is a must Above all you must be willing to work as part of the wider hotel team to maintain and encourage a good working relationship with your colleagues in all other departments and to contribute to building a great team spirit within the department.
