The role, Commercial Finance Business Partner... a role where you will be at the heart of an extremely successful business with offices in Burton-on-Trent.


You'll be working closely alongside Senior Sales, Finance, Operations and Commercial stakeholder networks to influence strategy and business outcomes, offering expert analysis and interpretation, presenting options to resolve problems and exploit opportunitiesand support informed financial decision-making.

The Opportunity

  • Daytoday tracking and reporting of underlying drivers of sales and profitability (price, volume, sales mix), including communicating with and influencing Marketing and Product/ Commercial teams to help improve performance
  • Enhance current reporting offering towards a marketleading business intelligence function, through detailed review of data structures/sources and use of BI tools
  • Collaborate with Marketing & Technology colleagues to ensure consistency of crossfunctional KPIs and datadriven decisions
  • Be a strong advocate of analytics, developing a deep understanding of the business to make sure that analysis is embedded in everyday decision making
  • Draw meaningful insights and ideas from large data sets to support and improve business performance
Who the client is looking for

  • You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with related postqualification commercial finance experience
  • Advanced Excel analysis skills essential
  • Demonstrable track record of commercial finance experience able to demonstrate evidence of working in a growing organisation with the ability to bridge the gap between finance and the business. Any exposure to invesment approsials and or financial modellingwould be ideal.
