TAX TRAINEE - FULL TIME PERMANENT

Our client is looking for a Tax Trainee to join their central finance team to provide support and advice to the wider commercial business.

This role will offer the opportunity to do further training and gain qualifications funded by the employer so if you have some experience within Tax or are looking for a change of career this will be the ideal opportunity for you.


Key Responsibilities
As a Tax Trainee your role will consist of the following duties

  • Admin
  • Assisting with the design of company policies risk management procedures/expense policies/transfer pricing.
  • Employment Tax / PAYE / CIS matters
  • Prepare monthly PAYE schedule for group companies and forward to accountants in time to meet monthly payment requirements.
  • Reconcile PAYE monthly with ledger control accounts and investigate and report significant differences.
  • Checking CIS returns prior to submitting to HMRC.
  • Assist with preparation & completion of Forms P11D / PSA.
  • VAT
  • Assist with preparation and submission of VAT returns Corp Tax
  • Review financial statements and taxsensitive data analysis.
  • Tax forecasting and corporation tax payments.
  • Assist with data collection for research and development' claims.
