About the Role:


Are you a skilled MIG Welder looking for your next challenge? Modus Careers is partnering with a leading Structural Steel Fabrication company based in Haverhill, Suffolk, to recruit talented MIG Welders.

We are seeking at least two welders—one for the day shift and one for the night shift—to join their dynamic team.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MIG welding on heavy structural steel components.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and welding diagrams.
  • Ensure all welds meet quality and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the fabrication team to complete projects on time.
  • Maintain and clean welding equipment and work area.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a MIG Welder, preferably with heavy structural steel.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in welding.
  • Knowledge of safety standards and procedures in welding.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
