Key Responsibilities:
This diverse role spans various facets of the business, encompassing:
- Assisting in new product development and guiding IP enforcement strategies and IP portfolio management
- Supporting UK and international sales teams on a range of commercial contracts, including dealer, distribution, website, franchise, and bike rental agreements
- Assisting logistics and operations teams with warehouse and logistics contracts, and aiding the procurement team with supply agreements
- Addressing UK and international real estate affairs
- Providing counsel on marketing and events such as the Brompton World Championships and brand partnership agreements
- Keeping abreast of legal shifts and supporting the business in complying with them
- Advising on data privacy matters
- As more than a lawyer, contributing to structuring and advising on new strategic initiatives periodically launched by the company
- Creating and enhancing legal processes, including crafting contract templates, standard forms, and legal issue checklists
- Developing and conducting legal training and education for various teams within the organization
- Involvement in instructing external legal counsel as needed and assisting in managing the legal budget
- Regular interaction with Directors and the C-suite

Who you are:
An initiative-driven individual with strong technical acumen
Capacity to delve into tasks across the spectrum, from routine to strategic, with a hands-on approach

Excellent at prioritizing tasks
Positive and proactive mindset

Desired Experience:
- 3-5 years of post-qualification experience
- Substantial experience in commercial contracts and intellectual property matters
- Trained at a top-tier firm, ideally with in-house experience in a retail or manufacturing setting

Flexible Work Arrangements
9-Day Fortnight

This flexible work schedule allows individuals to opt for compressing their contractual hours into 9 days instead of 10.

(i.e. working 80 hours across 9 days as opposed to 10).

This means working an additional hour across Monday to Thursday (over a two-week period) to enjoy Fridays off.
