Cambridge, Cambridgeshire, United Kingdom University of Cambridge Full time

Do you want to help secure some of the most impactful gifts of your career? Would you like to work where the fundraising possibilities are significant and the prospect pool extensive? Here at the Cambridge University's Development and Alumni Relations office, as the result of internal promotions, we are looking for principal fundraisers for the School of the Biological Sciences and for the School of the Physical Sciences, two of the most exciting Schools of the University.

What philanthropy does here at the University changes the world for the better.

We know what we can deliver and we want you to help us, building on the incredible successes we have already had.

We are looking for the lead fundraiser for Biological Sciences and for Physical Sciences, two of the most exciting Schools of the University.

They have very successful fundraising programmes, securing gifts at the 6, 7 and 8 figure level.

The research that the Schools do is wide-ranging, globally impactful and time critical.

It includes finding a cure for Alzheimer's Disease, unlocking a better understanding of the origins of our universe, ensuring global food security, developing technologies to enable energy transitions, and increasing our fundamental understanding about cancer and neuroscience.

The academics working in these Schools are extraordinary to work with and engaged with fundraising and what philanthropy can do.

You will be working as part of the Schools team - we are a warm, supportive and fun team who look out for each other.

You will find it a welcoming place to work

You do not need a background in scientific fundraising for this position
- we are looking for someone who is intellectually curious, skilled at building relationships that last and a team player. If this is you and you want to work where you can raise some of the biggest gifts of your career then we would love to hear from you.
