Are you looking for a new exciting role in a friendly warehouse in Polegate as a Warehouse Assistant? Working as part of a team, you will be able to help out in every aspect of the warehouse including receiving incoming goods to preparing shipping labels. A forklift licence is an advantage.

Job duties of the Warehouse Assistant are to:

  • Receive goods into the warehouse, ensuring that stock is updated correctly.
  • Pick, pack and ship goods.
  • Prepare shipping labels.
  • Use a forklift truck to ensure that storage is used to maxim efficiency.
  • Help with stock takes.
  • Assisting the Warehouse Manager with technical tasks
  • Maintain a clean and tidy warehouse at all times.

Skills and experience required for the Warehouse Assistant are:

  • Forklift licence or the ability to acquire.
  • Excellent team-working skills to effectively collaborate with other members of the team.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Computer literacy, data input required onto CRM system and produce shipping labels.
  • Excellent organisation skills.
  • Honesty and trustworthiness.
  • Previous warehouse experience.
