Front of House Staff

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers and answer questions
  • Take orders and payments from guests via our POS system
  • Prepare drinks & serve homemade cakes to guests according to the menu
  • Serve guests with freshly prepared food from our chef
  • Keep the front of house serving station clean and sanitized so that others can use it (including yourself) during service
  • Keep the café area clean, by clearing tables as required, by picking up dirty dishes, utensils and cups then taking them to the back of house
  • Maintain a positive attitude and work with all members of the team to accomplish common goals
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Skills

  • Experience in a customer service orientated industry
  • Ability to handle stressful situations in a polite manner.
  • An interest in street food and its current trends
  • Good knowledge of restaurant best practices and precautions
  • Good understanding of restaurant sales procedures as well as food safety standards
  • Good physical condition and stamina to work in a fastpaced environment (e.g. during peak hours)

Salary:
£8.60-£11.44 per hour

Expected hours:
No more than 40 per week
