Position: HLTA (High Level Teaching Assistant)
Location: Southampton
Salary Scale: £ £15.50 per Hour
Contract Type: Full-time

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating closely with teachers to support lesson delivery and classroom activities.
  • Providing targeted one-on-one or small group support to students as directed by teachers.
  • Assisting in preparing engaging learning materials and resources to enhance lesson effectiveness.
  • Fostering positive relationships with students to support their social and emotional development.
  • Implementing behavior support strategies in alignment with school policies to maintain a positive learning environment.
  • Supporting the class teacher and covering lessons during PPA time.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential as a High Level Teaching Assistant.
  • Demonstrate genuine passion for education and commitment to student well-being.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic educational environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and other support staff for student success.
