  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving and ensure the safe delivery of cargo
  • Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks
  • Plan routes and schedules to meet delivery deadlines and optimize efficiency
  • Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks, such as checking oil levels and tire pressure
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise

Experience:

  • Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated (e.g., Class A or B)
  • Clean driving record with no recent accidents or traffic violations
  • Familiarity with flatbed trucks and their loading/unloading procedures is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards
