Overview:

We believe it is important to provide a consistent and confident sales experience for our Customers.

We need our Sales team to be confident, polite and personable individuals, with outstanding communication skills to make an impact through sales via a variety of communication channels.

As an ambassador for Powerhouse Fitness, you will support a range of home and commercial customers (e.g. personal trainers, independent gyms, education and health care sector) and manage internal relationships between other departments.


This role would suit a confident, driven professional with proven in-bound and outbound sales experience and exceptional customer care to meet the demands and response levels expected by our customers.

A passion for health and fitness and knowledge of fitness equipment is a distinct advantage but not essential for this role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Use multiple channels to understand and identify sales needs and provide guidance and advice as to the best product for the customer
  • Focus on selling the right package to the customer, which may involve upselling partnering products and providing CAD designs where appropriate
  • Understand and comply with the sales process and manage the customer journey from initial enquiries to delivery
  • Following up with customers to ensure a good post sales experience
  • Building an indepth knowledge of our products and services to enable to provide outstanding technical insight
  • Deliver results in line with both individual and team targets and expectations
  • Be proactive in managing commercial accounts
  • Proactively grow the sales channel through generating sales leads through outbound enquiries
  • Outbound calling to assist web customers with abandoned baskets
  • Liaising with other departments within Head Office, Warehouse and Retail.

You will need:

  • To demonstrate problem solving with a can do attitude
  • Proven ability to close sales opportunities and consistently seek new opportunities
  • To be able to effectively prioritise and manage multiple sales channels
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a wider team
  • Ability to work with mínimal supervision
  • CAD design experience would be advantageous but not essential as full training can be provided


Above all else, you will need to be a great communicator who is passionate about growing sales and delivering world class service.
