Analytical & Judgemental Skills Compile data returns to support current service data returns Support the creation of clinical rotas Using, updating systems, producing reports and statistics for the organisation Planning & Organisational Skills To provide comprehensive admin/business support to the Service Leads.

Ability to work to a high degree of accuracy within tight deadlines People management skills Support Apprentice staff in their development Support projects as prescribed by the wider team.

Key Relationships To establish relationships with: Colleagues Board Members GP Practices GPs, Clinicians, Practice Managers, Receptionists / Care Navigators, Other Stakeholders CCG Officers, wider NHS staff teams, voluntary groups, training providers. Working Conditions Physical Effort Extensive periods of sitting with use of computer keyboard and mouse over long periods for input and manipulation of data, requiring a high degree of accuracy. Sorting, filing, lifting files / post Occasional travel to other sites may be required Driving license and access to a vehicle would be preferred Mental Effort Prolonged concentration required. About Us Connect Healthcare Rotherham Community Interest Company (CIC) is a federation of 30 GP practices in Rotherham.


The organisation is led by a Board of representatives from general practice in the Borough, with executive leadership from a Medical Director on a part-time basis.

The organisation currently delivers extended access primary care services in Rotherham and a Physio First service in partnership with the local acute and community trust, the largest of its kind currently operating.

In addition, the organisation is supporting the development of primary care networks and manages delivery of training and development to large cohorts of the general practice workforce.

Our Vision We are a GP-led organisation and aim to provide services for direct patient care and to support GP practices.


We will be a patient-centred, working collaboratively across general practice and with partners to provide high-quality services, positive working experiences for our staff, and to secure the sustainability of general practice in Rotherham.


To do this we are focused on:

Service delivery Retaining and establishing new contracts to deliver local services for the people of Rotherham Ensuring patients have easy access to a range of high-quality health and wellbeing services within primary care that meet their needs Embracing new technology and use it to the advantage of the people of Rotherham Workforce development Promoting the development of clinical and non-clinical staff, to ensure we attract new colleagues and retain existing ones To champion, pilot and promote new clinical roles in general practice Plan towards Retention and retraining of senior/ retired GP workforce Collaborative working Promoting greater efficiency within General Practice by reducing the duplication of work and benefiting from economies of scale Giving primary care a collective voice and seat at the table for decisions impacting health and wellbeing in Rotherham Collaborating across practices and with partner organisations to deliver efficient and effective services for the people of Rotherham Engaging patients and carers in the development of services.
